This leading manufacturer of high-power LEDs is a pioneer in the use of solid-state lighting solutions for everyday purposes including automotive lighting, computer displays, LCD televisions, signage and signaling and general lighting.

PM Greene Engineers has provided engineering design for HVAC, process piping, electrical and chemical work at this site since 1994. Infrastructure upgrade work includes new chillers, boilers and substations. Large scale projects include a 100 cabinet toxic gas vault, a 26,000 lb. bulk ammonia installation and multiple tool installs for InGaN and AlInGaP reactors. Perform approximately 35 projects per year at this site ranging in construction cost from $10,000 to $10,000,000, and maintain standard specifications and details in an on-going program to reduce costs and increase quality.

Designed a master utility plan to accommodate significant growth for the client’s LED manufacturing operation.

  • The master plan included all the utilities supporting production.
  • Estimated the utility demands correlated to the production tool installation schedule and compared those with current capacities.
  • Identified capacity shortfalls and developed trigger points to start upgrade projects to meet expected demands and to estimate timing and costs.
  • PM Greene Engineers works continuously to develop record documents of all existing utility systems.
