O’Connor Hospital was established in 1889 as the first hospital in Santa Clara County. It has been in its current location since 1953. It’s a non-profit hospital that focuses on offering care to the poor and underserved population of Silicon Valley. It has 358 licensed beds and a medical staff of 450. PM Greene Engineers has worked with O’Connor Hospital to update their facilities to allow them to continue to offer their patients the best care possible.
PM Greene Engineers remodeled O’Connor’s 5,000 sq.ft. ASU, including the patient rooms and nursing station, to enable the facility to meet OSHPD’s current code requirements. The initial phase of the project included a feasibility study and schematic design to determine the full scope of work and to establish budgetary pricing criteria.
